adding logos to your styled stock photos
It’s tutorial time!
We’re coming at you today with three new video tutorials all about how to add logos to your stock photos. We’ll be going over how to add your logo within Photoshop, Canva, and on your mobile device using the Canva app.
If you follow me over on Instagram, you may notice that each photo I post (aside from the monthly IG freebie images in our Stories!) has a light logo over the image. As a stock photographer, it’s important that I ‘watermark’ my photos, but there are plenty of other reasons you’ll want to know how to add a high-quality logo to your images, especially if posting to Insta or Pinterest where your posts could go viral at any point. Claim that credit where credit is due, ladies!
Get your eyeballs ready and your ears perked up – these video tutorials are waiting for you.
Adding Logos with Photoshop
Photoshop is by far the most robust photo editing platform, but adding a logo within the program is as easy as pie.
Easy as pie? Where did that saying even come from? Have you ever tried to bake a pie? It’s not that easy sometimes!
Anyways, if you work primarily from your desktop, then this tutorial is the one for you. Peep it below!
Adding Logos with Canva
If you don’t have access to Photoshop, have no fear! Canva, one of our favorite graphic design websites and platforms, is here to help ya out.
With Canva, you can easily upload and host your logo within the platform so you always have it ready to go in a cinch for whichever project you’re working on. Canva is a great quick go-to for amping up your styled stock photos and should definitely be on your girlboss radar!
Adding a Logo on Mobile
Canva is here to save the day again for all of you on the go gals! The mobile app version of Canva is one of the easiest ways to quickly add your logo to your photos from your iPhone or mobile device.
When inspiration suddenly strikes and you need to get that post out ASAP, there’s no need to wait until you get back to your desktop. Check out the tutorial for mobile devices below and then get back to being the on-the-go go-getter you are!
Aaaaand there we have it, folks!
Adding your logo to your styled stock photos can serve your business in many ways – from simple design aesthetics to providing credit where credit is due when your content is shared and reposted by others.
We hope these tutorials have been helpful, and as usual, if there’s anything you want to know, just let us know and we’ll create it for you!
