We know most of you are usually on the go and planning your Instagram feeds on your phone with apps like Planoly (our favorite and the one we use), Later, and Plann, so we knew a video all about mobile was in order.
Since we’ve already gone over how to add text to your photos using Canva, we’ll be using that same platform for this tutorial too. So if you haven’t already, go ahead and download the Canva mobile app so you can follow along with the video below.

how to add text on mobile
1.) Open the Canva mobile app to a blank white layout of your choosing
2.) Tap the white to open the upload screen, pick your favorite KateMaxStock photo and upload it within the app
3.) Click on the “+” sign in the bottom right-hand corner of the app and choose ‘Text’
4.) Click ‘add your own text,’ type your text or quote out, and press ‘done’
5.) Next, play around with the different tools to stylize your text how you like
6.) When you’re happy with your image, click the ‘Share’ button in the top-right corner of the app
7.) Choose where you want to save your image and there you go – that’s it!
Super easy, right?! Perfect for any last minute graphics you may find yourself needing or for when the inspiration hits while on the go!
